She runs CPD work groups for two local Maths Hubs. She began her career as a primary school teacher and also worked for many years for the Leicestershire School Improvement Service.  In addition, she has been involved in Initial Teacher Training, through both lecturing at the University of Leicester and taking on a tutor role for students on placement.

He has been a School Improvement Partner for over 20 schools, a Local Authority Senior Academy Improvement Adviser and managed the Primary Strategy for Leicestershire County Council. All schools he has led have improved their Ofsted ratings and have been taken to Good or equivalent, including one school that required Special Measures when he took up post. He is a Lead Inspector for Ofsted and inspects both primary and secondary phases. He has a Masters Degree and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership.
