Albert Village Primary School is set in a lovely village, in the heart of the national forest. Over recent years, the school has grown in size, with 200 children currently on roll and approximately 40 children in our onsite nursery. School and nursery staff work hard to ensure that children enjoy their time with us through exciting and challenging experiences. Staff and children are very proud of their school, especially of a letter received from Nick Gibb, the secretary of state for schools, congratulating us on being in the top 100 schools for sustained improvement, in attainment for key stage 2 SATs. Our last Ofsted was good too!
Our aims really encapsulate what we want to achieve for our children and school:-
* Resilient, aspirational children who are equipped to succeed.
* Independent, proactive citizens who are worldly wise.
* An inspiring, caring environment rich in resources.
* An innovative education igniting an infectious buzz.
We are very proud of the partnership we now have with the Oval Learning Trust; working collaboratively in this way will only strengthen our continued drive for excellence.
